A new festival exploded onto the North End scene during 2018 – Fiesta Tipica Con Barriletes – the Guatemalan Cultural and Kite Festival.

Held in New Bedford’s Riverside Park just #offtheave on Belleville Avenue, Fiesta Tipica Con Barriletes grew from a small event in 2017 to a region-wide festival on Saturday, September 22, 2018.
