On Saturday, October 16 from 10am to 3pm, Acushnet Avenue throws open the doors and takes it street-side for the Love The Ave Sidewalk Sale. It’s organized by the Community Economic Development Center, with support from Tufts Health Plan. In fact, Tufts will host a balloon painting pop-up at Phillip’s Avenue Pocket Park during the day.
The special project is also supported by Mass Growth Capital Corporation – Small Business Resiliency program. And, Seven Hills will be having a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at 1173 Acushnet Avenue.
Visit the merchants below on Saturday and check out the unique businesses that give The Ave its flavor. Where available, the day’s special offerings are listed; otherwise, look for them to be posted at the shops. And when you’re on The Ave, be sure to also grab some lunch or dinner!
There’s plenty of street parking, but you can also take advantage of three city-owned parking lots during the Sidewalk Sale. They are at Acushnet Avenue and Coggeshall Street; behind Cotali Mar Restaurant off Sawyer Street; and across from historic St. Anthony of Padua Church.
